At our Viewbank job, the clients had recently purchased the property and wanted to renovate immediately. The plan was to remove the back exterior wall, and extend the existing living, dining and kitchen to allow for more space.
We also removed internal walls, to accommodate for a master bedroom extension, ensuite, laundry and to doubled the size of the existing main bathroom. The existing hardwood floors were matched with reclaimed hardwood flooring.
Once the inside was complete, the exterior of the house was rendered and painted in Colorbond Surf Mist.
Additionally, we created more useful space by building a deck off of the kitchen/ living, accompanied by stairs down to a newly grassed backyard. And finally to conclude the renovation, we built a new front fence with an electric gate for convenience.
