The house in Donvale had been a family home for 25 years, however the clients had outgrown it with an expanding family. The clients requested a more user friendly space for entertaining and grandkids.
We devised a simple design and plan, which involved removing the load bearing walls that separated the lounge, kitchen and dining room and convert it into one big open space. Using skylights and stone finishes as features.
The job involved upgrading the floors from tiles to black but veneer timber supplied by WR Timbers. Additionally we installed floor to ceiling cabinetry, a gas fire place, changed the roof from tiles to colorbond roof sheets, insulated the ceilings throughout and upgraded the heating and cooling systems.
The upgrade was completed within a 12 week turnaround. This beautiful home is now ready for another 25 years! The transformation was exceptional and exceeded the everyone’s expectations.
